Ergophone I 500 / Ergophone I 510

This phone is dustproof and protected against water streams (protection class IP 65). This means that the equipment can be cleaned with water or the usual commercial solvent-free desinfectants.

Areas of application:

Hygienically clean rooms
Hygiene plays a major role both in the chemical and food industries and in hospitals. Technical equipment in laboratories and operating theaters must not become soiled and is thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis. The hands-free phone has been designed for such areas of application. On the one hand dust particles cannot penetrate the telephone, and on the other it is possible to thoroughly clean the appliance.

Rooms with a high dust concentration
Other possible areas of application with particularly dusty environments are mills and companies processing stone, wood and metal.

Hands-free speaking
The telephone microphone has been designed in such a way that speech can be picked up within a 3 m radius. A special loudspeaker means the caller can be heard loudly and clearly.

Finishing a call
Ergophone I 500/I 510 switches off automatically when the other party hangs up (busy tone detection).

Functions:

Simple call acceptance
In laboratories with a chemically aggressive atmosphere or at workstations with a particularly high concentration of dust, workers often wear special protective gloves. This makes it difficult to accept incoming calls. Ergophone offers a completely different solution: acceptance of calls via a push button switch which can be operated by a foot or an arm. This way, the telephone is “remote controlled” and hands remain free. “Hand work” must not be interrupted to answer the call.
